IS THERE ANYONE WHO SHOULD NOT SEEK DIVA VAGINAL THERAPY TREATMENTS IN THE WOODLANDS?

WHAT HAPPENS DURING A DIVA VAGINAL THERAPY SESSION?

Before Your Visit
Before your diVa laser treatment, we ask that you arrive freshly bathed and wearing loose cotton underwear. Please do not apply any creams or lotions on or near your pelvic area.
Ensuring Your Comfort
When you arrive at our office for diVa vaginal therapy in The Woodlands, we will begin by applying a topical numbing cream to maximize your comfort during the procedure.
diVa laser vaginal therapy
Once you feel numb, we begin the procedure by inserting the fully automated, ergonomic diVa laser device into the vaginal canal. This device is single-use only to ensure patient safety as well as sterility of the procedure. It’s also equipped with a dilator that remains stationary throughout the treatment. This expands and flattens vaginal tissue while delivering diVa’s two laser frequencies at once for an amazing combined effect. The full treatment lasts 5 to 8 minutes on average.
Post-treatment care for laser vaginal therapy
Immediately after their quick treatment with the diVa laser, most of our clients are able to return to their normal daily routine without trouble. Some minor swelling, discharge, or spotting may occur for several days after treatment.
While you can bathe and shower right away with gentle shampoos and cleansers, we do suggest refraining from vaginal penetration for 48 hours following your diVa laser treatment.
HOW DOES THE DIVA LASER WORK?
The diVa vaginal therapy laser uses the latest hybrid fractional laser technology for faster treatment time and even more comprehensive results. We can even customize the depth of treatment based on your unique concerns and needs.
The first laser frequency works to resurface the outer layer of the vaginal wall, allowing new, healthy tissue to grow. The second frequency gently heats the deeper layers of tissue to stimulate collagen production, increasing the thickness and elasticity of vaginal walls. This allows for increased natural lubrication and decreased laxity.
DO TREATMENTS WITH THE DIVA LASER HURT?
Our clients who have undergone diVa vaginal therapy report feeling quite comfortable throughout the entire 5 to 8 minute procedure.
Thanks to the topical numbing cream applied before we begin, clients describe the sensation as nothing more than gentle warming. Some clients may also feel slight pressure against their vaginal wall or increased sensitivity near the vaginal opening while the laser device is inserted.
HOW MANY DIVA LASER TREATMENTS ARE REQUIRED?
To initially treat the symptoms of vaginal atrophy, stress urinary incontinence, or vaginal laxity, we typically recommend a series of three diVA laser treatments to our clients. We must space these treatments out 4 to 6 weeks to allow for proper tissue healing. Some clients may require more, or fewer, treatments initially.
After this initial series of treatments, our clients notice a significant improvement in their intimate concerns and symptoms. Once fully healed, the vagina feels tighter, and more easily and naturally stimulated. Overall, our clients report feeling more in control of their body afterwards.
