Restore and rejuvenate your most intimate area
It’s no secret that pregnancy and menopause take a significant toll on a woman’s body. Between the fluctuating hormones, loss of interest in sex, difficulty with orgasm, decreases in vaginal tightness, and even embarrassing stress urinary incontinence, it can be hard to feel in control of your own body. Medical Aesthetics & Laser offers the O-Shot in The Woodlands to reinvigorate the sex lives of our clients, treat urinary incontinence, and help them reclaim their O-spot.
The O-Shot in The Woodlands uses platelet-rich plasma (PRP) derived from your own body to increase blood flow and prompt new cell growth in the vagina and clitoral areas – increasing tightness, heightening sensitivity, and improving lubrication. Stop suffering with these intimate issues in silence, and contact Medical Aesthetics & Laser to find relief from your frustrations with the O-Shot in The Woodlands!

How it Works
At your appointment for the O-Shot in The Woodlands at Medical Aesthetics & Laser, we will first gently draw some of your blood and isolate the plasma needed for the procedure in a centrifuge. We will also apply a topical anesthetic inside your vagina and around the clitoris. Once you are numb, we will use a local anesthetic to numb deeper tissues to maximize your comfort during the injections. We then use a tiny needle to redeliver your PRP near your clitoris and into the front wall of your vagina, near the G-spot and urethra.
When the PRP derived from your blood is injected into the vaginal wall and clitoris, the high concentration of growth factors and proteins released by the platelets activate your body’s stem cells and stimulate cellular repair, tissue regeneration, collagen production, and the formation of new blood vessels. This results in new, younger, and healthier vaginal tissue, helping treat your intimate concerns and tightening the area near your urethra to relieve stress urinary incontinence.
Before your O-Shot in The Woodlands, we advise you to:
- Avoid using blood-thinning medications and supplements (e.g. Ibuprofen, Advil, Motrin, Aleve, Aspirin, Fish Oil, etc.) for 5 days prior to the procedure. If you are taking these medications under direction of a physician, discuss with them before discontinuing use.
- Avoid systemic corticosteroids for 4 days.
- Hydrate very well the day before and day of the procedure to help with blood draw.
- Shave the treatment area within 24 hours of the procedure.
After your O-Shot in The Woodlands, it is important to:
- Avoid using blood-thinning medications and supplements (e.g. Ibuprofen, Advil, Motrin, Aleve, Aspirin, Fish Oil, etc.) for 5 days after the procedure. If you are taking these medications under direction of a physician, discuss with them before discontinuing use. Use Tylenol (or acetaminophen) for any swelling or discomfort.
- Avoid systemic corticosteroids for 2 weeks after the procedure.
- Wait 2-3 days before having sex or using a tampon.
I have been going to Angela at Medical Aesthetics and Laser for over a year. Angela is extremely competent and thorough in delivering excellent customer service. She is also knowledgeable in what treatments are needed to get the best results for a beautiful and younger appearance. I am very pleased with my results and highly recommend Angela at Medical Aesthetics and Laser. I would never go anywhere else.
I have been a client of Medical Aesthetics and Laser for the last few years. Prior to this, I tried several other clinics and doctor’s offices (including a couple of top plastic surgeons in Houston & The Woodlands) for Botox and facial treatments, but nothing can compare to results I have obtained with Allison and Kelli. I consider Allison to be both an expert and an artist in the way that she administers Botox and Dermal Fillers. She gives me a youthful appearance without causing me to look unnatural or contrived. I have used Kelli for laser resurfacing, chemical peels, and facials. Since adhering to her skin care regimen, my skin has never been as clear and healthy as it is now. I feel confident in recommending Medical Aesthetics and Laser to anyone who has the desire to improve their appearance, and gain confidence in the image that they project to others.
Most women will achieve the desired results after just one O-Shot treatment.
Most women enjoy the results of their O-Shot for at least a year to 18 months.
Thanks to the topical and local anesthetics used in the procedure, your O-Shot could cause very little discomfort. Many patients report feeling nothing more than light pinching or pressure during the treatment.
Most women see results within a few hours or days from the treatment, with results continuing to improve over the next month.
Women who want more, or better orgasms; want a tighter vagina; want more natural lubrication; or have those embarrassing “leaks” when they cough, sneeze, or laugh, should consider an O-Shot as a treatment for these symptoms.
While the O-Shot is considered safe during pregnancy, women who are pregnant or planning a pregnancy will likely have better results if they wait until their body recovers from childbirth before scheduling their appointment. It is also important to note that the O-Shot is not designed to help with low libido. If you suffer from low libido, you should talk to your primary care doctor about having hormone levels checked and then consider BioTE hormone therapy in The Woodlands from Medical Aesthetics & Laser.
Treatment costs can vary depending on your unique needs. Your Medical Aesthetics & Laser specialist will provide you with the exact cost of your procedure up front in your initial consultation. We can also accept CareCredit to cover the cost of your treatment.
